La mise en scène du réalisateur est correcte, l'ambiance créée plonge le spectateur dans le film, l'intrigue est efficace et le scénario est travaillé. De plus, les acteurs comme Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington ou encore Sam Shepard sont irréprochables dans leurs rôles et le film est intéressant. Bref, à voir. "L'Affaire Pélican"(1993)est un thriller politique et judiciaire à l'ancienne(c'est un compliment), base sur un roman palpitant du maître du genre John Grisham. 2 magistrats de la cour suprême sont assassinés dans des circonstances se rencontrant fortuitement, un journaliste opiniâtre et une étudiante en droit, vont remonter d'une enquête finissant par impliquer le FBI, puis la Maison-Blanche elle-même. J 'espère voir une saison 4 et plus même sur #Netflix en tout cas je serais au rendez-vous 😍😁 Le prince des dragons est une série méconnue de très bonne facture. Si la première saison est assez rudimentaire techniquement parlant (on voit sans cesse l'animation se décomposer à chaque mouvement, ce qui est assez moche), le scénario l'emporte largement ainsi que la galerie de personnage bien fichue. Le bestiaire fantastique est bien échafaudé et le monde lui aussi bien détaillé. J'ai commencé le binge watching dès la saison 2.... Excellent divertissement familial! : personnages attachants, bonne intrigue avec multiples rebondissements, superbe animation. Étonnant en VO que tous les elfes aient des accents écossais, irlandais voire français... alors que les humains ont un accent anglais bien de chez nous... euhhhh... chez eux.

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie after reading the book. Sadly, instead of any story approximating the book, I got a mess of not-so-special effects with a way over the top story. During the sequence with the burning trestle bridge (I don't want to be any more specific because I don't like posting spoilers) I actually turned to my wife and said, "This is stupid. " She agreed. My 11 year old daughter liked the movie so maybe grownups weren't the target audience for this mess. If you liked the book, keep away. If you want any kind of thought or story internally consistent story, keep away. If you want mindless depictions of the 16th president acting like a super hero, leaping tall buildings in a single bound, felling giant trees with a single stroke, performing moves that would make Jet Li proud, this is your movie.
